1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Entity Detector ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. Entity Detector is owned and operated by Trade Assistance.

2. Description of Service

Entity Detector provides an API service that analyzes article text to extract entities (persons, objects, locations) and identify relationships between them with sentiment analysis. The Service uses AI-powered analysis through Ollama.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Usage Limits and Quotas

4.1 Free Tier

Each account receives a primary API token with a free daily quota of 100 requests. This quota resets daily.

4.2 Paid Credits

You may purchase credits to use beyond your free daily quota. Credits never expire and can be used with any API token.

4.3 Fair Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or quotas
  • Share API tokens with unauthorized users
  • Use automated systems to exceed reasonable usage patterns
  • Resell or redistribute API access without authorization

5. Payment Terms

Credit purchases are processed through Stripe. By purchasing credits, you agree to:

  • Pay all charges associated with your purchase
  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method
  • Understand that all sales are final (credits are non-refundable)

Credits are non-refundable but never expire. Prices are subject to change with notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Entity Detector and Trade Assistance and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit for analysis. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance and updates
  • Technical issues or failures
  • Third-party service dependencies
  • Force majeure events

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTITY DETECTOR AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Entity Detector, Trade Assistance, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
